This DX5 printhead model is compatible with all DX5 based Chinese printers and doesn't require any decoder. This is the original Epson DX5 printhead, it is not modified nor coded.

Two electrically independent piezoelectric slices, each with 64 addressable channels, are combined to provide a total of 128 nozzles. It has been calibrated for a droplet size of 30 pico litre and has a maximum firing frequency of 40 kHz.

This print head is suitable for Mutoh Drafstation printers. This is the original Mutoh printhead (part number DF-49029) with a Mutoh 40 digit head ID. This printhead is intended to be used with water based inks. Please refer to PPHMUVJ1204 for the 24 digit head ID solvent based Mutoh printhead.
