This DX5 printhead model is compatible with all DX5 based Chinese printers and doesn't require any decoder. This is the original Epson DX5 printhead, it is not modified nor coded.
The Spectra SE-128 AA is a high performance, robust and reliable jetting assembly designed for a broad range of wide format printers at resolutions up to 900 dpi. Two electrically independent piezoelectric slices, each with 64 addressable channels, are combined to provide a total of 128 nozzles. It has been calibrated for a droplet size of 30 pico litre and has a maximum firing frequency of 40 kHz.
This Toshiba / Xaar CA4 on-demand piezo electric inkjet print head is designed for industrial applications with high print quality. Unlike conventional binary print heads, this grayscale print head technology is capable of jetting multiple drops within one dot allowing for an image to have 16 levels of grey, since each dot is created through a minimum of 6 picolitre to a maximum of 90 picolitre of ink.
