Cab 5977380.001 Printhead 4/600 Label Printer The printhead / thermal strip / printhead are the parts that can be moved and replaced in the printer. Thermal strips are used in thermal transfer printers and direct thermal printers. Since the thermal rod is permanently in direct contact with the passing label or thermal transfer tape or film, there is constant wear. As soon as print quality degrades, becomes weak or even uneven, the print head or thermal bar / printhead should be replaced. Changing the print bar is easy with all CAB printers and is usually always economical. Label printers are designed in such a way that exchanges are usually quick and easy. Please note that many models are available with different resolutions (dpi). There are up to four resolution variants (150 dpi, 203 dpi, 300 dpi, and 600 dpi).
